There are so many companies to choose from when picking a Halong Bay cruise, it can be quite daunting. There were lots of good reviews for Bhaya, and we weren't disappointed. The transfer bus was luxurious, with wifi, and very smooth. We had a short wait at the dock and then boarded our boat. We had been upgraded to a cabin with a terrace - which was lovely. The cabins were lovely. We'd booked a two night tour which I'd definitely recommend. The food was fabulous and the trips out, including the kayaking, floating village and caves were really great. Of course the scenery was stunning too. The cruise manager, Dang Van Ninh, and all his staff were really attentive and helpful.
Our second Ha Long cruise. We enjoyed the first one with these guys and went again. Both times, our entire holiday was booked through Kuoni, who always seem to find excellent services like AuCo.
We just completed a 3 day cruise on the Au Co 2, rooming in a Executive room on the second floor with it's private balcony. It was a great room. It's a typical cruise ship size room with a nice size bath and two comfortable single beds pushed together. The meals were delicious, the daily happy hour had great drinks, and there were extra activities each day. The best part was the scenery that we could enjoy from several decks as well as our own balcony. The boat passed close to the islands, which gave us a great opportunity to photograph it well. The staff was great and very eager to please. An hour prior to disembarkation, it rained very hard with strong winds. The captain pulled the ship back out of the entrance to the harbor and waited until it subsided and it was safer to go in. The staff wrapped all our luggage in plastic bags and gave us all rain ponchos to wear. I can't recommend them enough. I was so happy we went with this company.
We took a 2 night 3 day cruise with Au Co (unexpected free upgrade from Bhaya Premium). My family had an amazing time. Au Co go to places that are not busy (many caves and floating villages are so busy there are waiting times of up to 30 minutes). We were alone in the cave we visited and this was the same case at the fishing village. We were basically alone when we visited an inhabited island. The crew were fantastic and the food was of a very high standard. My kids are picky eaters but the staff were very accommodating and made an effort to ensure we were happy. I would strongly recommend this cruise. My Wife has already asked when we are doing it again.
Special time on the exotic Halong Bay with Bhaya Cruise Lines. Very comfortable modern accommodations. Great food and really fun activities with crew members. Traveled throughout Vietnam with my brothers and this Halong Bay trip was one of the best experiences of our trip.
We had Bhaya premium cruise for one night and two days. The trip was amazing. Halong bay is soooo beautiful and calm that my family had wonderful time. The water was so calm and none of us had sea sick. The Bhaya staff was very kind and organized. From hotel pick up to drop off, everything worked great. Tuyen, our cruise manager, together with other staff were so helpful and good. Cave exploration, spring roll cooking, early morning tsai chi, the island with cliff monkeys were all awesome. Food was great. Strongly recommended.
My Husband and I recently sailed the 2 day/1 night on the Bhaya Classic 3 and it was incredible. The service, the cabins, the food... all we could talk about was wanting to go back for longer.
Concluding our trip, we spent our last couple of days on a private cruise in Halong Bay with Minh and his team. From start to finish, we had a blast. Between having a whole boat to ourselves, private tour in the bay, private cooking lesson, squid fishing, and great service, we couldn't have asked for more.
