Itinerary Details

DAY 1: HANOI – HALONG

DEPARTS: 12:30 PM

Trinh Nu Cave, where the Love Story of Halong Bay began

Your journey starts as Bhaya Classic cruising towards the southeast of Halong Bay, passing Trong Mai Islet, Ngon Tay Islet, Con Coc Islet, Cua Van Floating Culture Center. The first destination to visit is Trinh Nu Cave, one of the finest sunlight-filled cave in Halong Bay, covering an area of 2,000m2 with a stunning assortment of stalactites and stalagmites.

*Trinh Nu Cave is an exclusive destination for Bhaya Cruises’ passengers during selected periods of the day.

Things to do

Swim in the “Love Story” area of Halong Bay

Passengers can take a swim in the jade-colored water or sunbathe on a private beach nestled behind the cave. This is when you can munch in the stunning views while indulging in the pristine water, especially enjoying the most idyllic Trinh Nu scene.

Happy Hour – Buy 01 Get 01 Free

Passengers have the chance to taste our most exquisite drinks varied vastly on selection, while enjoying the scenic panorama view of Halong Bay. Our open bar onboard is to serve the freshest cocktails made by awarded bartenders.

MasterChef “Halong Bay Edition” Competition

Vietnamese cuisine is renowned for its incredibly savory flavors and includes lots of health benefits. By being a part of this mini competition, all passengers can try out creating authentic Vietnamese dishes, with the winner of the competition awarded surprising gifts, and observe fruit carving demonstration by our chef.

The Master-Chef competition also happens during the sunset, so don’t forget checking out the admiring scene over the enchanting Halong Bay while Bhaya Classic anchoring for the night.

Squid-fishing like a Local

One of the most bonding activities onboard is squid-fishing, and this is when the whole group can try out the technique like a local to get the squids from the ocean while having a wonderful time all together.

DAY 2: HALONG – HANOI

STARTS: 6:15 AM                CHECK OUT: 10:30 AM

Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave

Halong Bay's largest and most famous cave, Sung Sot Cave, which consists of two major chambers. The first, comparable to a theatre hall, features numerous stalactites hanging from the ceiling. From here a narrow passageway leads to the massive second chamber, where a flow of natural light brightens the surfaces of a space roomy enough to hold thousands of people.

Sung Sot Cave's 10,000 square meters of space hold thousands of stalactites and stalagmites and are threaded by a 500-meter paved passageway.

Things to do

Tai Chi on Sundeck

Rejuvenating the body and spirit with a refreshing Tai Chi lesson as the sun rises over the acclaimed UNESCO Heritage Site is one of the relaxing experiences that passengers have. Practicing this beautiful art regularly can help treat a number of human ailments.

Overnight cruise at Halong Bay

From check in to disembarking, this was a fabulous sojourn around the limestone rocks and Surprise Cave. The boat was beautifully appointed with all the facilities of a larger cruise ship. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this Bhaya Cruise if you’re visiting Vietnam.

Stunning location, comfortable accommodation

Nature provides the backdrop and Jack Sparrow and his crew provide friendly, efficient service. The Bhaya 3 is very comfortable. Cabins make the most of the space. You even have a balcony! The shower was better than at the accommodation we had in Hanoi! How the staff provide such delicious meals out of such a small kitchen defies logic. Between our group, we tried all the activities - kayaking, swimming, Master Chef, fishing, squidding, Tai Chi and a cave walk. We had such fun! I strongly recommend a cruise on Halong Bay. Book on Bhaya 3 if you can.

Bhaya Premium 6

We visited Halong Bay and took an overnight cruise with Bhaya. Our three children 9,8 and 6 visited with us. We had an amazing stay and packed in so many activities into the short visit. Our guide Son was very helpful, knowledgable and great fun. He was wonderful with our three boys and really made us feel welcome. The food on board was delicious and very plentiful. The rooms were as expected for a small cruise boat but very clean and comfortable.

Fantastic Experience On The Bhaya Classic 2 Day 1 Night Cruise

From the moment we stepped onboard our Bhaya Classic 2 Day, 1 Night Cruise the staff went above and beyond to make our trip as memorable as possible. Our room was incredible - with a comfortable bed, bathtub and even a large terrace to enjoy the amazing views. It felt like a 5-star hotel room! There was a great variety of food to suit all tastes and dietary requirements, with a great wine list and cocktail menu to match. The highlight of our trip was the amazing activities - in just 24 hours we squeezed in two cave trips, a swim on a private beach, cooking lesson, kayaking and Tai Chi at sunrise which was unforgettable. We also loved the staff's attitude to sustainability onboard with both plastic bags and straws banned as well as many "green" initiatives encouraged throughout our stay which was a delight to see. We cannot recommend this tour enough and would return again in a heartbeat, it is worth every penny!

Amazing and relaxing trip.

As I write we have just enjoyed the most fabulous 2 night stay with Bhaya Premium Cruises to Halong Bay where we enjoyed wonderful food,a visit to the most stunning and largest cave I have ever seen, time to Kayak and swim in a very private and secluded Bay all with the most informative and helpful crew. We enjoyed Tai Chi on the top deck of the boat early in the morning and admired the most spectacular scenery. The food was excellent throughout and we ate some of the freshest seafood all expertly cooked and many courses as well as taking part in a small cooking class. We were taken to the very quietest areas of the Bay which made the experience all the more enjoyable away from the more busy areas, all on a boat with not many people at all(worth paying extra for as some boats around us looked very busy which we feel would spoil our enjoyment of this unique UNESCO heritage site. The man in charge of the boat,Huy,could not have been more helpful or informative throughout, always keen to make sure we were enjoying our stay,he and his crew deserve all our gratitude for this unforgettable experience. The Squid fishing was fun though sadly we failed to catch one. All in all this trip was the highlight of our honeymoon for which our lovely cabin was decorated in rose petals with a bouquet of roses for my wife.....a... Thank you to all involved,We would not hesitate to recommend this company and especially Huy for all his kindness as well as his entire team. We saw many crowded boats on our way out and back but would highly recommend paying the extra with this company for a more personalised and relaxing environment. Neil and Kathryn Durrant
