Trinh Nu Cave, where the Love Story of Halong Bay began

Your journey starts as Bhaya Classic cruising towards the southeast of Halong Bay, passing Trong Mai Islet, Ngon Tay Islet, Con Coc Islet, Cua Van Floating Culture Center. The first destination to visit is Trinh Nu Cave, one of the finest sunlight-filled cave in Halong Bay, covering an area of 2,000m2 with a stunning assortment of stalactites and stalagmites.

*Trinh Nu Cave is an exclusive destination for Bhaya Cruises’ passengers during selected periods of the day.

Things to do

Swim in the “Love Story” area of Halong Bay

Passengers can take a swim in the jade-colored water or sunbathe on a private beach nestled behind the cave. This is when you can munch in the stunning views while indulging in the pristine water, especially enjoying the most idyllic Trinh Nu scene.

Happy Hour – Buy 01 Get 01 Free

Passengers have the chance to taste our most exquisite drinks varied vastly on selection, while enjoying the scenic panorama view of Halong Bay. Our open bar onboard is to serve the freshest cocktails made by awarded bartenders.

MasterChef “Halong Bay Edition” Competition

Vietnamese cuisine is renowned for its incredibly savory flavors and includes lots of health benefits. By being a part of this mini competition, all passengers can try out creating authentic Vietnamese dishes, with the winner of the competition awarded surprising gifts, and observe fruit carving demonstration by our chef.

The Master-Chef competition also happens during the sunset, so don’t forget checking out the admiring scene over the enchanting Halong Bay while Bhaya Classic anchoring for the night.

Squid-fishing like a Local

One of the most bonding activities onboard is squid-fishing, and this is when the whole group can try out the technique like a local to get the squids from the ocean while having a wonderful time all together.

*On this day, passengers will transfer to a Bhaya Spirit wooden junk to enjoy the day's excursions.

Ho Ba Ham (Three Tunnel Lake)

On Dau Be Island of Lan Ha Bay, Ho Ba Ham is completely enclosed by vertical cliffs and is only accessible by a narrow, meandering tunnel. With its colorful stalactites dangling overhead, the access tunnel is a fascinating scene, and upon reaching the wide-open lake, you can view orchids, benjamin figs, banyans and cycads which can blossom throughout the year.

Shrimp and fish are in abundance just under the water surface, while bats, flying squirrels, yellow-haired monkeys, and numerous bird species keep things lively above the surface.

One of the most beautiful floating villages in the world - Cua Van Fisherman Village

Cua Van Fisherman Village, situated in a calm bay ringed by mountains some 20 km for Halong City, is a tranquil retreat for those seeking an authentic experience of the local lifestyle. As the largest floating village in the area, Cua Van has a population of over 700 people living in its network of floating houses. The village has been recognized as one of the most beautiful floating villages in the world.

Things to do

Kayak in the tranquil Ho Ba Ham (Three Tunnel Lake)

Soaking in the incredibly pristine water of this lake, you can sense peaceful moments as Time seems to stop. The beach is a hidden gem with the picturesque appearance of the tall sea-almond tree pair, especially during the autumn.

Try the local rowing boat in Cua Van Fisherman Village

One of the most exciting activities that you do not want to miss out while in Cua Van is kayaking. This is when you can soak in the stunning views of the floating village while paddling along the incredible tranquil emerald-colored sea and try out traditional rowing boat. It is the chance to experience moments in the life of the local fishermen who were born on the emerald-colored sea.

Be excited to see the fruit-carving demonstration

Not only cooking delicious dishes in different cuisines, but our chefs can also be phenomenal artists at carving fruits into lively shapes of mythical animals like a dragon or aesthetic patterns. To learn more about this handicraft, joining a demonstration onboard will be a new experience for you.

*Passengers will return to Bhaya Classic boat at around 3-4 pm.

Byaha Classic 4 was Incredible!

My husband and I spend New Year’s Eve on they Bhaya Classic 4. Everything about the experience was amazing! Jack and his staff were amazing and they made it a great experience! Jack wanted us to stay up until midnight so he planned some fun games that were appropriate for everyone including the kids on the boat. We also learned how to make spring rolls with a fun “master chef” competition. The boat was small with about 10 rooms, so we had 20 people on our boat. The room we stayed in was very clean and tidy. The food was tasty, but they catered to the type of people on the boat, non Asians. This meant there was a lot of western food. Being in Vietnam, we hoped there would be more authentic food! Also, just note that the drink service was kind of slow. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour company to anyone who wants to do a Halong Bay tour.

The only way to experience Halong Aby

From the moment that we stepped onboard the AuCo Cruise, we were treated to the best quality service you could find onboard a cruise. The staff were exemplary and made sure that your every requirement was met. There were a number of activities that you were able to enjoy and sometimes it was good to have downtime, and this was encouraged too. Our awesome teenagers thoroughly enjoyed it too and particularly enjoyed the late night squid fishing! Masterchef was a lot of fun as well! Happy hour from the top deck watching the sunset with our friends and children is something I will remember for a long time. Cannot recommend more highly.

Bhaya premium 10

Had a fantastic cruise around this stunning area on a small boat offering comfort and a personalised service. Boat Manager Kevin worked so hard to ensure we had a perfect trip and was a great host. The itinerary included kayaking, swimming, tai chi at sunrise and much more. A unique experience made very enjoyable by such a well organised tour and accommodating host.

Incredible 3d/2n on Classic 2

From start to finish, my husband and I were greeted by the most wonderful staff, pampered with food, deliciously strong cocktails and fantastic views of Halong Bay. It was the perfect length of time on the cruise, and a full/fun itinerary. Special mention to Henry our Cruise Director and Phuong our Programs Director, who both went out of their way to make the experience so special.

Fabulous stay, wish I had more time!

The staff is so wonderful, they’re super nice and kind, they cater to your needs. Whether you have diet restrictions or intolerances they’re there for you, I’m vegetarian and they catered beautifully. The cabins have a cute little balcony, and they have everything you really need. They have some activities on board on the 2 day/1 night, but if you have time They have longer packages and the off course there’s mere activities too. The caves are gorgeous, however there’s about 500 steps in total, so be mindful of that. But on that note, it’s not difficult to walk around inside the caves.

Overnight cruise at Halong Bay

From check in to disembarking, this was a fabulous sojourn around the limestone rocks and Surprise Cave. The boat was beautifully appointed with all the facilities of a larger cruise ship. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this Bhaya Cruise if you’re visiting Vietnam.

Stunning location, comfortable accommodation

Nature provides the backdrop and Jack Sparrow and his crew provide friendly, efficient service. The Bhaya 3 is very comfortable. Cabins make the most of the space. You even have a balcony! The shower was better than at the accommodation we had in Hanoi! How the staff provide such delicious meals out of such a small kitchen defies logic. Between our group, we tried all the activities - kayaking, swimming, Master Chef, fishing, squidding, Tai Chi and a cave walk. We had such fun! I strongly recommend a cruise on Halong Bay. Book on Bhaya 3 if you can.
