Having 6 million people from all over the world visited each year, Halong Bay can be overloaded sometimes. Let’s be honest, you can hardly relax on the beach with all these noises.

A key strategy here is to retreat in more private beaches. Give a try in Ba Trai Dao (Three Peach) Beach or Ho Ba Ham (Three Tunnel) Area, you will be captivated by its pristine water and soft white sand, making it a perfect spot for swimming and sunbathing.

With calm water in this exotic paradise, swimming is a truly unforgettable memory.

Summer is the best time to dive in the cool water. If you plan to spend your vacation during non-summer times, remember not to swim at after 5 p.m. or too early in the morning.

During the winter, the North in Vietnam is a lot colder. It is windier and the wind is much stronger in the bay. With the low temperature of the sea, the human body is very likely to lose temperature faster while swimming. It is very dangerous and you might catch a cold if your body temperature drops below 33 °C.
